A normal wash cycle can release over 700 000 microfibres, depending on the clothes. Studies showed that even by using a synthetic fibre blended with cotton can reduce the shedding by as much as 600%. 

Natural fibres are the ideal choice, as these fibres are biodegradable.

We know it is impossible to completely avoid synthetic fibres, but by following best washing practices, we can preserve our fabrics and extend the lifespan of our clothes. Wash less at low temperatures, reduce spin speeds and only wash full loads to limited friction. Air Dry when possible.
